Hidetaka Miyazaki Working on New Game

<p>After directing dark-fantasy action-RPGs <em>Demon&&num;8217&semi;s Souls<&sol;em> and <em>Dark Souls<&sol;em> for  From Software&comma; it was recently announced that Hidetaka Miyazaki would not be directing the upcoming <em>Dark Souls 2<&sol;em>&period; Instead&comma; directing duties will be handled by Tomohiro Shibuya and Yui Tanimura&comma; while Miyazaki will hold a supervisory role only&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>However&comma; the acclaimed director&comma; who worked on several <em>Armored Core<&sol;em> games before creating the <em>Souls <&sol;em>series&comma; already seems to be thinking about his next directorial effort&comma; as revealed in <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;edge-online&period;com&sol;news&sol;introducing-edge-249-dark-souls-ii-unveiled&sol;" target&equals;"&lowbar;blank">EDGE&&num;8217&semi;s <em>Dark Souls 2<&sol;em> article<&sol;a>&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Although there are currently no concrete details as to what Miyazaki&&num;8217&semi;s next game will be &&num;8211&semi; a sequel or something completely original &&num;8211&semi; he told EDGE&comma; &&num;8220&semi;sometimes I&&num;8217&semi;d like to work on a warmer game &&num;8211&semi; not necessarily casual&comma; but warmer in terms of the atmosphere and the environment&period;&&num;8221&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&&num;8220&semi;A warmer game&&num;8221&semi; would certainly be a departure for Miyazaki after the often bleak and brutal worlds presented in <em>Demon&&num;8217&semi;s Souls<&sol;em> and <em>Dark Souls<&sol;em>&period; Either way&comma; many people will no doubt be keen to see what the director does next&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
