Square Enix have announced the release date for the second part of Hitman’s episodic missions.
Hitman Episode 2 is releasing on April 26th for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. If you have bought the Full Experience, the episode will be unlocked. For those who bought the Intro Pack, you can buy the location for $10. If you want to have access to everything the Full Experience offers and have the Intro Pack, you can buy it for $50.
This episode’s location is the sunny beach town of Sapienza in Italy. In this level, Square Enix in the Hitman blog state the following about the level: “From a luxurious mansion to the medieval church situated by the beach and the cramped alleys littered with stores. Sapienza is a dense location full of challenges and packed with opportunities and stories for the enterprising player to unfold.”
Logan Schultz wrote the review for Hitman’s first episode, which was set in Paris. He said, “Hitman is artistically gorgeous and a must-have for gamers looking for a satisfying, powerful experience with a lot of payoff. And a lot of violence,” but he thinks the episodic format is negatively affecting the narrative experience.
