Hotel Transylvania is Coming to Consoles This Summer

<p>There aren&&num;8217&semi;t many movie tie-in games anymore due to them just not really being a good idea&comma; I guess&quest; The amount of money that goes into something that ends up feeling like a half-baked cash-in is absurd&period; However&comma; there have been some good ones recently including <em>The Mummy Demastered<&sol;em> <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;bagogames&period;com&sol;mummy-demastered-review&sol;">which surprised even us<&sol;a>&period; And now there is a <em>Hotel Transylvania <&sol;em>game in the works and is expected to release this summer&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The game &lpar;which has no official title yet&rpar; takes place where <em>Hotel Transylvania 3&colon; Summer Vacation <&sol;em>leaves off&period; That movie doesn&&num;8217&semi;t come out until July 13th&comma; so I suppose we&&num;8217&semi;ll get this game around then or a little bit after&period; It involves a shipwreck and players will have to travel across a multitude of islands to save Dracula&&num;8217&semi;s friends&period; Expect puzzle-solving as you maneuver through each level&comma; and run into new allies who will offer unique abilities to help you along your way&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>This sounds a lot like a classic PS2 platformer which were the standard for a lot of family movie tie-in titles&period; Terry Malham is the CEO of Outright Games&comma; who are developing the upcoming <em>Hotel Transylvania <&sol;em>game&comma; and there is confidence that this will be a quality product&comma; &&num;8220&semi;<em>We know that this collaboration with Sony Pictures Animation&comma; combined with our expertise at fantastic family entertainment&comma; will mean we can bring this franchise to life in the form of a fun game for players everywhere&period;<&sol;em>&&num;8221&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>There isn&&num;8217&semi;t anything concrete other than that the movie is coming out this summer and will be available on Nintendo Switch&comma; PS4&comma; Xbox One&comma; and PC&period; Let us know in the comments below whether you&&num;8217&semi;re interested in playing a game based on <em>Hotel Transylvania<&sol;em>&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Source&colon; U&amp&semi;I Entertainment Press Release<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;
