I have been a fan of Supermassive Games since Until Dawn was released on the PlayStation 4. I absolutely loved the concept, style, story and gameplay of the title. I was upset when the follow up to that game was VR only, I didn’t get it and was bummed I wouldn’t be enjoying their unique style of games. That was until they released The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan!

House of Ashes takes place in 2003, you are in the mountain of Zagros in Iraq. You come under a fire and a small skirmish ensues. This firefights causes a small earthquake to open the Earth beneath your feet, suddenly you and you enemies are falling towards a buried Sumerian Temple. Anyone else feel that Evil Dead vibe?
While there is no final release date yet, Bandai Namco says that the title will be released sometime this year on the Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC. On May 27 we will see gameplay footage, so the hype trail for this title is just beginning.
