Microsoft have revealed the latest sales information for the Xbox 360 console meaning that we now have a better understanding of how many units the console has shipped in its lifetime.
In the past three months, the console has sold 1.3 million units which now bring the total sales figure to an astonishing 77.2 million units across the globe since the console originally launched late 2005. Although many of these units could very well be from early adopters who have had to replace their “red ring of death” units it is still an impressive figure by anyone’s standards.
This information was revealed as part of Microsoft’s latest financial report where other information was also revealed to the general public. Xbox Live now has over 46 million members, which is an 18% increase from 2012 also.
