Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition Announced for Switch

Hyrule Warriors

Prepare to step back into the land of Hyrule this Spring when Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition comes out on the Nintendo Switch. The news was announced during the Nintendo Direct Mini earlier today.

This version of the game includes all 29 playable characters and all the previous DLC available for the Wii U and 3DS versions of the title. In addition to all of the content, the Switch version will also have outfits for both Link and Zelda based on The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Hyrule Warriors was a 2014 action game by Tecmo Koei and Nintendo that blended both the formulas of the Dynasty Warriors series and The Legend of Zelda. The game has a story mode, which includes voice overs, and it tells the story of how Link and his comrades battled Sorceress Cia in order to keep the balance of the Triforce.

Nintendo and Tecmo Koei have also worked on Fire Emblem Warriors, which came out on the Switch last year.  Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition is set to release sometime this Spring for the Nintendo Switch.
