<p>Revered by many as one of the greatest boxers to ever step foot in the ring&comma; Muhammad Ali’s life is about to be explored in-depth in a highly anticipated documentary called <em>I Am Ali<&sol;em>&comma; which received a brand-new trailer today&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The trailer features a whole host of family members and friends close to Ali discussing what kind of man he truly was outside of the ring&comma; with other well-known boxing figures such as Mike Tyson offering his thoughts on &OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;The Greatest&period;” Additionally&comma; one of Ali’s most formidable opponents&comma; George Foreman&comma; appears in the trailer and reminiscences about their iconic fight from Kinshasa&comma; Zaire in 1974&comma; which was famously dubbed as &OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;The Rumble in the Jungle&period;”<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Starting off his boxing career under the name of Cassius Clay&comma; a 22-year-old Clay shocked the entire world when he defeated the-then world heavyweight champion Sonny Liston in 1964 and created one of the biggest upsets in boxing history&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Ali’s life was controversial outside of the boxing ring&comma; as the three-time world champion converted to Islam in 1975 and joined the radical religious movement known as the Nation of Islam&comma; where he shared a close relationship with leader Elijah Muhammad and Malcolm X&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Following an end to his boxing career in the 1980s&comma; Ali was diagnosed with Parkinson&&num;8217&semi;s syndrome in 1984&comma; but the former boxer has remained a high-profile figure since then in a number of sports-related events&comma; including the moment when he lit the flame of the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta&comma; Georgia&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Directed by Clare Lewins&comma; <em>I Am Ali<&sol;em> is scheduled for release October 10th&comma; 2014 in cinemas&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
