Last night, Guilty Gear Strive developers Arc System Works attended the February Fighting Game Roundtable. For those unaware, the Fighting Game Roundtable is a conference that collects developers from companies such as Bandai Namco Entertainment, Capcom, and SNK to reveal new events, trailers, and content coming up.

That being said, Arc System Works revealed the 15th and final character to be added to Guilty Gear Strive’s base roster. The 15th character is none other than returning character I-No. I-No received her own character trailer at the conference, too. You can watch I-No’s brand-new trailer for Guilty Gear Strive below.

I-No: Unchanged, But Still Effective

Watching the trailer, if you’ve played Guilty Gear Xrd, or any prior title in the series, you’ll be happy to know something. Aside from an additional super, I-No remains completely unchanged in terms of her moveset. She retains her upward-angled ground dash, all of her specials, projectiles, and movement, and her downward-angled airdash.

The trailer also showcases that, when she was fighting Sol, Ky immediately jumps in after Sol’s defeat. Whether this was cleverly edited, or the game plans to have a tag team mode in some capacity, we don’t know yet, but we’ll update when we know. The attack that she performs on Ky is also completely new, too. Was that alluding to Instant Kills returning? Or was it simply a unique super to her?

Those details, we don’t know yet, either, but hopefully, an update will come in the coming weeks.

Guilty Gear Strive will be launching on April 9th on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. Pre-orders are available for PlayStation platforms here.
