Developer Emilie Coyo and publisher Blowfish Studios has just announced Infinite – Beyond The Mind. The action-platformer is coming to Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One and Steam in Q2 2020.
Playing as the two female badasses Tanya and Olga, you must overthrow a corrupt empire across 16 stages. All rife with intense boss fights, platforming challenges, and enemy troops. With a focus on melee combat and acrobatics, your reflexes will be key to survival.
You must also avoid environmental hazards while closing in on your enemies. As well as the ability to utilize heavy artillery cannons and mounted gun emplacements.
A Mixture of Genres
The game promises a mix of genres too, with some gameplay taking the form of high-speed aerial sequences. The second player can be called in with the press of a button to turn the tide of battle.
Raised on the war-torn battlefield, the game centers around two women who share a bond through their special powers. Though things change for the worse when one of them is abducted by Queen Evangelyn. It is up to you to rescue your partner from captivity by any means necessary.
“With Infinite – Beyond the Mind, I set out to make the game I always wanted to play when I was a child. Being able to realize that goal has been a dream come true and can’t wait to share it with PC and console players all over the world later this year.” – Emilie Coyo.
Infinite – Beyond The Mind will be available Q2 2020 on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam for $9.99. It will feature both English and French language support.
Though if you are attending PAX this year you can catch an early glimpse of the game. Go to Booth #12034 for PAX South, San Antonio, Texas on January 17-19. And Booth #29044 for PAX East in Boston, Mass. on February 27 – March 1.
