Wanrer Bros. announced today that the popular fighting game, Injustice 2, will be making its way to PCs this autumn. There’s no concrete date, but there will be an open beta tomorrow, October 25th, that will let fans of the superhero fighting franchise get a taste of the game before it releases on PC. The open beta will be available on Steam, while the full game will launch on both Steam and the Windows Store.
Injustice 2 is one of my favourite games this year, launching originally on PS4 and Xbox One. It came as somewhat of a surprise to see NetherRealm Studios not release the game on PC, but I think most of the rationale behind that was how poorly ported over to PC Mortal Kombat X was. The game was hit with so many technical issues, on top of a weird install situation that it was notoriously poorly received. That being said, Injustice 2 is being ported to PC by QLOC, as opposed to High Voltage Software who handled the Mortal Kombat X port. QLOC handled Mortal Kombat XL for PC, as well as the PC port of Dragon Ball: Xenoverse. They are a company known for their localization and porting services, so this bodes well for Injustice 2 on PC.
