Insomniac Games: No Wii U Games, Possibly PC

<p style&equals;"text-align&colon; center&semi;"><a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;cdn&period;bagogames&period;com&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2013&sol;05&sol;06001013&sol;FUSE&lowbar;Dalton&lowbar;MagShield-620x&period;jpg"><img class&equals;" wp-image-46257 aligncenter" alt&equals;"FUSE&lowbar;Dalton&lowbar;MagShield-620x" src&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;cdn&period;bagogames&period;com&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2013&sol;05&sol;06001013&sol;FUSE&lowbar;Dalton&lowbar;MagShield-620x-300x168&period;jpg" width&equals;"610" height&equals;"340" &sol;><&sol;a><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Insomniac Games&comma; developer of the PlayStation superstar duo <em>Ratchet and Clank<&sol;em>&comma; isn&&num;8217&semi;t seeing a great future in developing Wii U games&period;  Insomniac CEO Ted Price&comma; took part in a Reddit AMA session and expressed his view of seeing the Wii U as more current generation than &&num;8220&semi;next generation&&num;8221&semi; platform&comma; and that he considers the PS4 and the upcoming new Xbox as being the real title holders&period;  Price said he&&num;8217&semi;s very excited about the PlayStation 4 and that it&&num;8217&semi;s great how Sony is cutting through the red tape and making it easier for indie developers to get their games onto next-generation consoles&period;  He is also very excited about the next Xbox&comma; which will be unveiled on May 21&comma; and to see what Microsoft has up their sleeves&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>While the Wii U is down for the count&comma; Price isn&&num;8217&semi;t counting out the PC&&num;8211&semi;especially when he was asked about Insomniac&&num;8217&semi;s co-op shooter <em>Fuse<&sol;em> and why it hadn&&num;8217&semi;t been announced yet for PC&period;  Price responded saying&comma;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<blockquote><p>&&num;8220&semi;We wanted to make sure that we nailed it on Xbox 360 and PS3 before considering anything else&period;  New IP&comma; new engine &lbrack;and&rsqb; tools&comma; new publishing partner&period;  There was a lot of &&num;8220&semi;new&&num;8221&semi; on the project&period; &&num;8220&semi;<&sol;p><&sol;blockquote>&NewLine;<p>When he was approached and asked if Insomniac had PC game development lined up&comma; he said&comma; &&num;8220&semi;Maybe&&num;8230&semi;stay tuned&period;&&num;8221&semi;    At the end of his AMA a<em> Fuse<&sol;em> fan asked him if Insomniac would ever make another game that ran at 60fps and he said that it would probably not happen&period;  He stressed the fact that most fans were happy with 30fps for their <em>Resistance<&sol;em> and <em>Ratchet and Clank<&sol;em> franchise of titles&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><em>Fuse<&sol;em> is set for release on Xbox 360 and PS 3 on May 28 in North America&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&lbrace;Source&colon; <strong><a title&equals;"Insomniac Games Not Working on Wii U Titles&comma; May Consider PC Development&comma; says CEO" href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;polygon&period;com&sol;2013&sol;5&sol;10&sol;4320566&sol;insomniac-games-not-working-on-wii-u-titles-may-consider-pc">Polygon<&sol;a><&sol;strong>&rcub;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
