Instant Videos, the latest offering from Amazon, is coming to the Xbox 360, just after launching the service on the PS3. There service is available to Live Gold members who have also subscribed to Amazon’s Prime system and will allow them to access 17,000+ movies/TV shows whilst non-Prime subscribers can still obtain videos and whatnot to watch peacefully on the 360. However, to actually purchase content will have to be done via a PC rather than the app itself.
This system of course, wouldn’t even dream of leaving out the Kinect. Users will be able to use the device to navigate the system for easy usage. Other features available include Watchlist, which allows users to develop playlists via their PC and WhisperSync which will allow users to start video content on one device and continue it on another, should they wish to.
This service follows hot on the heels of other service available for the 360 including HBO Go app. If you’re unsure, sign up for Amazon’s one-month free Prime membership to take a gander of what’s on offer.
