Voidpoint’s old school first-person shooter Ion fury is getting an expansion this summer. Aftershock will be hitting Steam, Nintendo Switch PS4 and Xbox One this summer.
Aftershock takes place after the events of the main game. Shelley Harrison has defeated her foe Heskel and she decides it is time to paint the town red. As she drinks her adult beverage she is interrupted by massive explosions. To her dismay she she’s Heskel fly off in a monstrous machine. Grabbing her trusty side arm she follows her foe into the fray and battles him again, this time with new environments, enemies and weapons.
Not going to lie, this title looks fun. Totally reminds me of Duke Nukem 64, and go figure it’s 3D Realms that is publishing the title and the expansion. I expect this to be another laugh riot with great mechanics and that awesome nostalgic feeling in the chest. I will definitely be grabbing the whole shebang when this drops this summer.
