A new year means a new month, which means free games. January 2018’s Games With Gold lineup has been announced and comes with four free games throughout the month. Among them is a survival horror game and a classic Tomb Raider game. Xbox One owners can add The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing III throughout January. From January 16 to February 15, Zombi is available on the Xbox One. Xbox 360 owners can add Tomb Raider Underworld from January 1 through January 15. Starting January 16 through the 31st, Army of Two is free to add.
The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing III is the final game in the Van Helsing trilogy. The game makes its debut on the Xbox One. You will see Borgovia in its darkest state as the civil war is over but a cult is prophesizing the end times. The game has received mixed reviews ranging from good to average scores.
Zombi was originally a Wii U title (under ZombiU). The game was then ported and given a boost in graphics for current-gen consoles. The first-person survival horror game takes place in London, England during a zombie outbreak. It has received mostly average scores for its review scores.
Tomb Raider Underworld has Lara Croft solving the mystery of Thor’s hammer to save the world from being destroyed. Tomb Raider Underworld was one of the last games released before the series was rebooted in 2013. Underworld has received mostly average scores across the board.
Army of Two is a co-op third-person military shooter. You and a friend take jobs across the world to earn money to improve your weapons. Army of Two is another game that has received mostly average scores for its reviews.
You still have time to download December’s Games With Gold. As usual, all the games are backward compatible for Xbox One.
