John Krasinski to Voice Peter Parker in Spider Man: Into the Spider-Verse

<p>Everyone knows how well Marvel has done with their MCU movies&comma; they&&num;8217&semi;re massive hits and have helped make Iron Man and Star Lord household names&period; While the live-action movies have been big&comma; there hasn&&num;8217&semi;t been too much Marvel animated action on the big-screen&period; Later this fall however&comma; Sony and Marvel are looking to change that with <em>Spider-Man&colon; Into the Spider-Verse&comma;<&sol;em> which looks to focus heavily on the Miles Morales&&num;8217&semi; Spider-Man character&period; Now&comma; it has been revealed by <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;fandomwire&period;com&sol;2018&sol;02&sol;05&sol;john-krasinski-joins-spider-man-into-the-spider-verse-as-peter-parker&sol;">FandomWire<&sol;a> that John Krasinski will be joining the cast of <em>Into the Spider-Verse<&sol;em> and voicing none other than Peter Parker&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><amp-youtube layout&equals;"responsive" width&equals;"500" height&equals;"281" data-videoid&equals;"ii3n7hYQOl4" title&equals;"SPIDER-MAN&colon; INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE - Official Teaser Trailer"><a placeholder href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;youtube&period;com&sol;watch&quest;v&equals;ii3n7hYQOl4"><img src&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;i&period;ytimg&period;com&sol;vi&sol;ii3n7hYQOl4&sol;hqdefault&period;jpg" layout&equals;"fill" object-fit&equals;"cover" alt&equals;"SPIDER-MAN&colon; INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE - Official Teaser Trailer"><&sol;a><&sol;amp-youtube><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Krasinski has apparently been in the studios recording his voice lines&comma; and has been doing them alongside Tom Hardy&comma; who was recently revealed to be voicing Eddie Brock&sol; Venom in the film&period; Parker is supposed to be an older&comma; more mature version of himself&comma; who will take on the role of mentor of sorts to Morales in the movie&period; Krasinski is best known as Jim from <em>The Office<&sol;em>&comma; and is well regarded for his comedic acting skills&comma; but has also had more dramatic roles under his belt&period; He will easily bring all of this into his performance as Peter Parker&comma; and should make for a great addition to the film&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Little is known about the Chris Lord written project&comma; but things are slowly starting to take shape&period; Now with Krasinski cast as Parker&comma; Tom Hardy solidifying himself in the public consciousness as Venom in the film&comma; and Liev Schreiber as an unknown villain&comma; it appears that Sony is really looking to make the film a hit&period; Based on the first trailer&comma; the film has a very slick style to it&comma; and should really stand out on the big screen&period; Also&comma; with a Christmas release&comma; Sony&&num;8217&semi;s really looking to make the film a massive hit&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>What do you think about Krasinski playing Peter Parker&comma; and who do you think Schreiber is playing&quest; Let us know in the comments below&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Source&colon; FandomWire<&sol;p>&NewLine;
