Developed by KING Art Games, The Dwarves is a tactical Fantasy-RPG based on the German novel, with the same name. It has done really well on Kickstarter lately, reaching over $200,000 out of the $260,000 pledge goal, with 15 days to go.
Today KING Art Games announced that Blind Guardian, the popular German heavy metal band, is going to perform parts of The Dwarves soundtrack. Not only that, but the band will take part in a quest within the game as well. The dev team also posted a video, where they visit Blind Guardian in their studio, and lets them play a demo of The Dwarves.
The Dwarves is planned for a mid-2016 release, for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

KING Art Games already has two successful Kickstarters behind them with Battle World: Kronos and The Book Of Unwritten Tales 2. It looks like the team is putting everything they learned so far into The Dwarves, as it does really well on Kickstarter. The physical based combat system looks potentially cool, and so does Blind Guardians involvement in the title. Let’s just hope that the collaboration adds something substantial to the game, and do not feel tacked on.
