Killing Floor 2 Aiming For ‘Most Advanced Gore System Ever’

<p>Today Tripwire Interactive have revealed they are working on Killing Floor 2 and that it&&num;8217&semi;s going to be the bloodiest game on the market&period; Announced in this month&&num;8217&semi;s issue of PC Gamer&comma; the development of Killing Floor 2 is great news for fans of the original&comma; which launched back in 2009&period; Originally just a mod for Unreal Tournament 2004&comma; Tripwire convinced Killing Floor creator Alex Quick to let them turn the mod into a stand alone title&period; Developed by a group of 10 people in 3 months&comma; the game has since over sold 2&period;6 million copies&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Because of this success&comma; Killing Floor 2 can be made with a much higher budget&comma; most of which has been spent on gore&period; Tripwire has invested in motion capture to make sure that melee and range combat look as great as possible&comma; both from a third person and first person perspective&period; The new gore system is called MEAT &lpar;Massive Evisceration and Trauma&rpar;&period; Limbs&comma; organs and bits of brain  explode from your enemies with every shot from your rifle and every slash of your sword&period; Thanks to some new development tricks the blood splatters won&&num;8217&semi;t fade away as they do in other games&period; Instead the blood and gore will adorn the walls of the map until the game is finished&comma; allowing you to paint the entire town red&period; Killing Floor 2 also has 95 different death animations for added variety&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>No release date has yet been given for the game but Tripwire  has said it will release the game sooner than we expect&period; For more news about Killing Floor 2&comma; keep checking back with BagoGames&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Via <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;pcgamer&period;com&sol;2014&sol;05&sol;08&sol;killing-floor-2-exclusive-first-look-co-op-fps-horror-with-the-most-advanced-gore-system-ever&sol;">PC Gamer<&sol;a><&sol;p>&NewLine;
