Square Enix finally has given KH fans an in depth trailer into the universe of KH III. Yet, tonight the Kingdom Hearts 3 PS4 trailer reveals even more worlds Sora will explore. This particular trailer focuses mostly on the Pirates of the Caribbean world. Sora, Goofy, and Donald will meet with Captain Jack and all of the beloved pirates from the films.
The gritty textures, grime and wood paneling all give a greater sense of the Pirates world. Sora’s excitement for becoming a pirate will be short lived with the meddling of Organization XIII. Seeing even a small glimpse of this particular part of the KH III story is a huge deal for KH fans.
In addition to the special trailer, Sony showed off a very special edition of the PS4: the Kingdom Hearts 3 Edition. On the casing of the console, the designs feature intricate artwork depicting clocks, keyblades and various symbols from the Disney universe. (If you look closely at the above image, you should be able to see at least Rapunzel’s flower). The included dual-shock controller also sports a beautiful design. No pre-orders for this limited edition console are available yet. However, it is safe to assume that this one will sell out fast.
Kingdom Hearts III will release in North America on January 29, 2018, for both PS4 and Xbox One.
