<p>According to <a href="http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2015-11-22/shiro-amano-kingdom-hearts-manga-series-is-finished/.95666"><strong>Anime News Network</strong></a> and <strong><a href="http://www.khinsider.com/news/Shiro-Amano-confirms-Kingdom-Hearts-manga-series-is-finished-6164">Kingdom Hearts Insider</a></strong>, <em>Shiro Amano</em>, the mangaka of the<em> Kingdom Hearts</em> manga series has announced the ending of the series. <em>Shiro Amano</em> began adapting the JRPG into manga form in 2006.</p>
<p>There has been adaptions of the original <em>Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts II</em> and <em>Kingdom Hearts 358 / 2 Days </em>video games from Disney and Square Enix. Originally Tokyopop released the manga in North America before shutting their doors in 2011. Currently Yen Press is publishing the series in North America.</p>
<p>The video game series follows the adventures of Sora, Riku and Kairi as they get swept up in the troubles and fun of the Disney worlds with King Mickey, Goofy and Donald.</p>
