The most recent issue of Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu has revealed that Koei Tecmo is currently working on a remake of their 2007 real time tactics title, Bladestorm: The Hundred Years War. In the game, players took on the role of a mercenary leader who must capture towns and castles to earn fame, loot and experience. The conflict is based upon the Hundred Years War which took place between England and France in the 14th and 15th centuries.
Now the publisher is back with a remake which will be called Bladestorm: The Hundred Years War And Nightmare. Not many details have been revealed so far but we do know that it will feature a lot of additional content to set it apart from the original game. Producer Akiro Suzuki has stated that he considers this newest title to be a reboot of the franchise and hopes that it will lead to original sequels in the future.
Suzuki has stated that he will reveal more about the Bladestorm remake very shortly so stick with BagoGames to get all the details.
