Last Encounter will Save Humanity Later this Year

Today, Exordium Games announced that their rogue-like twin-stick shooter, Last Encounter, will release on PC in Q2 of 2018. It will then be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch later in Q2. Take a look at the upcoming game in the trailer above.

Last Encounter allows for up to four players to play with each other in local co-op, as well as playing alone. The twin-stick shooter sets up a world where a technologically advanced race of aliens have come to wipe out all of humanity and the last surviving pilots must work together to prevent utter destruction. One of Last Encounter‘s coolest gameplay elements is the ability to mix and match weapon components to create the ultimate weapon. This will undoubtedly prove to be an interesting mechanic throughout the procedurally generated levels.

You can currently sign up to play the beta of the game on the game’s official site. If you’re attending PAX South this year, you can also check out the game as part of PAX Rising at Exordium Games’s booth.
