The Last Guardian Director Feels ‘Terribly Sorry’ for the Game’s Delay

<p><em>The Last Guardian<&sol;em> was announced some time ago&comma; and outside of a trailer or two&comma; we&&num;8217&semi;ve seen nothing else from the game&period; Over the years it has been teased and hinted at&comma; with hopes of details to come in the future&comma; but as of the time of writing this&comma; we still have nothing solid to go on&period; Many think the game is no longer a PS3 title and has made the jump to the PS4 but&comma; as with everything else about the game&comma; we simply don&&num;8217&semi;t know&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The game&&num;8217&semi;s director&comma; Fumito Ueda&comma; was recently interviewed by <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;edge-online&period;com&sol;news&sol;ueda-terribly-sorry-for-the-last-guardian-delay&sol;">Edge magazine<&sol;a> about his career and&comma; of course&comma; <em>The Last Guardian<&sol;em>&period; With the game nowhere near release and still in-development&comma; this is what Ueda had to say&colon;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&&num;8220&semi;Putting aside the short-term output&comma; more than anything I feel terribly sorry that for various reasons I have kept my audience waiting for such a long time&period;&&num;8221&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Ueda&comma; who is now working on <em>The Last Guardian<&sol;em> as a freelance dev&comma; said that his creative work on the game was finished long ago&comma; &&num;8220&semi;but the details of when&comma; where and how it will be completed are beyond my control&period;&&num;8221&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&lbrace;Source&colon; <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;edge-online&period;com&sol;news&sol;ueda-terribly-sorry-for-the-last-guardian-delay&sol;">Edge-Online<&sol;a> via <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;gematsu&period;com&sol;2013&sol;11&sol;fumito-ueda-terribly-sorry-for-the-last-guardian-delay">Gematsu<&sol;a>&rcub;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
