The first piece of DLC for Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us is out today and brings with it several new maps for the multiplayer mode.
The Abandoned Territories DLC is covered by the game’s Season Pass, but if you want to purchase it as a standalone release, it’ll run you $9.99. You can check out the new trailer for the DLC to see if these are new areas you want to fight and survive in.
Additionally, The Last of Us is getting its 1.05 Patch update, which tweaks and fixes a number of things, including:
- Made a fix to prevent players from being able to climb the tilted flag pole on the High School map.
- Players should no longer get comeback weapons (pre-crafted molotovs / bombs / purchase weapons) when they are winning by more than a small margin.
- Games no longer end in ties unless both teams are on the same section of the unlocking process. If one team has more interrogations than the other, that team will win the match.
The 1.05 patch has also had a video made, in which Erin Daly, Lead Multiplayer Designer and Quentin Cobb, Multiplayer Designer, discuss more of the game’s changes.
