The Last of Us: Remastered Gets a Price Drop

The Last of Us: Remastered available only for the PlayStation 4, is getting a price drop. Sony is lowering the original price of $60 down to $50. Those who have pre-ordered the game from retailers should have already been refunded. Gamers who pre-ordered The Last of Us: Remastered will be refunded by the PlayStation Store within five to seven days according to VP of Publisher and Develpoper Relations at PlayStation Adam Boyes and President of Worlwide Studios Shuei Yoshida’s Twitter page.

The PlayStation website says the remastered edition features include a prequel chapter that explains Ellie’s past, and “eight brand new multiplayer maps in the Abandoned and Reclaimed Territories packs and in-game cinematic commentary from the cast and creative director”. The Last of Us: Remastered will launch on July 29 and pre-orders are still being taken.
