In what looks like an answer to many a geek’s wishful prayers, LEGO figures are coming to theaters in the form of their first original feature for the big screen: The LEGO Movie
From the trailer we get to see some of the LEGO staples including Batman, Superman, the Ninja Turtles, 80’s something astronaut guy, and more. No word yet on who else might make an appearance but with LEGO’s extensive licensing agreement with multiple entertainment properties, the possibilities are virtually endless. Also on the plus side is the great cast which consists of stars like Morgan Freeman, Liam Neeson, Chris Pratt, Will Arnett, Will Ferrel and others.
No concrete release date has been set except for a vague 2014 promise. I’m already clearing my entire year. Until then, check out this sweet trailer!
