If you played any of the past LEGO games, you’re familiar with the formula: linear levels linked together by an explorable hub environment. LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes aims to change that with an open world of over 500 square miles.
In the sequel, Batman and Robin will be joined by classic DC characters such as Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman and the Green Lantern. They unite to save Gotham City from the manipulative duo of Lex Luthor and the Joker.
Players will be able to explore the open world using vehicles such as the Batmobile and Batwing. New batsuits and gadgets will also introduce flight, heat vision and other powers.
LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes will be available on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS and Nintendo 3DS this summer.
