LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 Is Flying Into Store Shelves This Year

Lego Marvel fans assemble! LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 is coming this November for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The Nintendo Switch version will be coming this Holiday.

This sequel will have a new branching storyline, the ability to manipulate time, and a 4-player battle mode. This game is going more wacky with its locations and characters. You will be able to play as Cowboy Captain America and Spider Man 2099 as well as many other characters like the Guardians of the Galaxy, Black Panther, and Captain Marvel in places such as: Chronopolis, Ancient Egypt, The Old West, Sakaar, and a New York City set in 2099. Whether or not these locations are all open world to a scale like the previous game is yet to be confirmed.

Tom Stone, the Managing Director of TT Games said in a press release, “With a huge array of brand new characters from the Marvel Universe, including old favorites in new guises, this game is sure to thrill both LEGO and Marvel fans, as well as newcomers to the series.”  The exact size of the characters available in the game hasn’t been revealed yet, but the original game had 155 characters at launch with DLC later released.

More details about the game will likely be shared at this year’s E3. The game will be released on November 14th, 2017 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The Nintendo Switch release date hasn’t been given yet.
