Can New Life Be Breathed Back Into Diablo 3?

<p style&equals;"text-align&colon; left&semi;"><em>Diablo 2<&sol;em> saw many loyal players leveling and co-oping with each other for years after its release but opinions on the third game in the trilogy have varied&semi; some find it to be much too easy and that there isn&&num;8217&semi;t enough to do once players reach the maximum level&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p style&equals;"text-align&colon; left&semi;">Even creator&comma; David Brevik has voiced some concerns&comma; saying that&comma; &&num;8220&semi;They made some decisions with the loot system that were very different than the way that we did it in Diablo 2&&num;8230&semi;I am sad because people are outraged and&comma; you know&comma; some of the decision they have made are not the decisions I would make and there have been changes in philosophy and that hasn&&num;8217&semi;t gone over very well&period;&&num;8221&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Coming in patch 1&period;0&period;4&period; are some changes that the <em>Diablo 3<&sol;em> team hopes will improve some aspects of the game such as buffs to legendary items and some big changes to how the game&&num;8217&semi;s character classes function&period; Also coming in the newest patch is what is being called a &&num;8216&semi;Paragon System&&num;8217&semi;&period; This will allow players who have reached the max level of 60 to continue to improve their character with an additional 100 Paragon levels&period; Each level will take experience gained and for each level&comma; players&&num;8217&semi; characters will gain core attributes and &plus;3&percnt; Magic and Gold Find&period; Blizzard&&num;8217&semi;s hope is that these new additions will bring back some of the players who have gotten tired of the limited leveling system&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&lpar;Via <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;ign&period;com&sol;articles&sol;2012&sol;08&sol;20&sol;diablo-iii-adding-paragon-system">IGN<&sol;a>&rpar;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
