To the best of my knowledge, Master Chief’s past hasn’t been too much of a focus in previous Halo titles, but Halo 4 seems to be preparing to delve into that very thing. The new trailer for the game, titled ‘Scanned’, shows us Master Chief in a tight spot as his mind is broken into and we’re shown a few specific moments of John as a child and the process of being turned into a Spartan.
Microsoft is going all out with the marketing for Halo 4, from the Live-Action Forward Unto Dawn series to the various videos like this. I’m getting more and more excited, to be honest.
Halo 4 has a release date of Nov 6th.
