The first DLC character to come to Injustice: Gods Among Us is going to be Lobo, Ed Boon announced in this Injustice Battle Arena video. The interview with Boon starts around the 5:20 mark, but the actual DLC announcement begins around 8:54.
Boon describes Lobo as a ‘fast brawler’ who has a pretty decent range of attack due to the chain weapon he wields and plays like none of the other character currently in the game. Boon also noted that he and the team at NetherRealm are always getting requests from fans for more characters like Martan Manhunter, Supergirl and Red Hood.
Lobo doesn’t have a set date for when he’ll be available to join the current roster, but remember that hes only the first of four planned DLC charatcers. You may get your favorite character yet (if you haven’t already). I’d personally like a Red Hood character, if only because he’s pretty awesome in Under the Red Hood. or, you know, the other Teen Titans.
