<p><em>Lords of the Fallen<&sol;em> had plenty of people talking when it originally released&period; However&comma; after that&comma; it seemingly dropped off the radar&period; Now&comma; though&comma; CI Games has confirmed a sequel is still happening&period; However&comma; <em>Lords of the Fallen 2<&sol;em> is being handled by a different developer&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>CI Games CEO Marek Tymi&nacute;ski released a statement&comma; saying&colon;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&&num;8220&semi;<em>We talked to a number of globally respected studios that had shown a strong interest in making the next LotF&comma; and received several solid pitches&period; We finally decided to move forward with Defiant because we were impressed with their game concept&comma; production expertise&comma; and the pedigree of their developers&period;<&sol;em>&&num;8221&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<h3>Defiant Production<&sol;h3>&NewLine;<p>The developer hasn&&num;8217&semi;t released many other details on <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;bagogames&period;com&sol;producer-says-lords-fallen-2-happening&sol;"><em>Lords of the Fallen 2<&sol;em><&sol;a>&period; The sequel was announced when the original game released&period; This was back in 2014&period;  CI Games&&num;8217&semi; Tomasz Gop&comma; who was released back in June 2017&comma; said that development was taking longer than expected&period; When Mr&period; Gop worked on the game&comma; it was still in very early stages&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>At the time&comma; he said&colon;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&&num;8220&semi;<em>Almost two years &lbrack;since 2015&rsqb; I&&num;8217&semi;ve been working on the sequel and I have not seen it leave the concept&sol;vision stage&period; I was working on something I was really 100 per cent into and we were not producing the game<&sol;em>&period;&&num;8221&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>According to Gop&comma; CI Games&&num;8217&semi; ambitions for the sequel had been heavily downsized following the disappointing <em>Sniper Ghost Warrior 3<&sol;em>&period; Where <em><a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;bagogames&period;com&sol;&quest;s&equals;lords&plus;of&plus;the&plus;fallen">Lords of the Fallen<&sol;a> 2<&sol;em> will go in the hands of Defiant remains unclear&period; All that&&num;8217&semi;s known about the game at the moment is that it will be released on consoles and PC&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>However&comma; almost no other details have been released about the game after four years of development&period; All we really know is that the game is in development&period; This announcement brings almost no new information to the table aside from Defiant&&num;8217&semi;s involvement&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Source&colon; <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;pcgamer&period;com&sol;lords-of-the-fallen-2-is-still-in-development-but-now-a-new-studio-is-involved&sol;">GameSpot<&sol;a>&period;<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;
