With the upcoming sequel to THQ’s well-received, Zelda & God of War-like action game, Darksiders II, developer Vigil Games has announced that there will be rewards for fans who have reached different milestones in the original Darksiders. These will come in the form of two in-game items, useable by main protagonist, Death.
The first item—unlockable by just having played the first Darksiders—is a level 5 armor set called the “Pauldron of the Horsemen”, buffing all players’stats and critical attack damage. The second item will be available for those who completed the first game, coming in the form of a scythe called the “Chaos Fang”, adding to attack damage and crit damage.
If you haven’t played the first Darksiders, this might be the added bonus you need to pick up the game before the sequel drops August 14th.
