The latest update to the Super Smash Bros. website has revealed the male version of the Wii Fit Trainer. It’s only one screenshot of the character, which isn’t much to go on, but we can guess that he’s either an alternate costume for the female Wii Fit Trainer, a new character entirely or one of the game’s support characters.
Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if he was one of the former two guesses. Dark Link was an alternate for Link in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and the series has had many similar characters (sometimes called clones) in it’s roster, like Roy and Marth or Capt. Falcon and Ganondorf in Super Smash Bros. Melee. Regardless of which category the male Wii Fit Trainer falls into, though, one thing is certain: he’s in the game now and he’s gonna hit someone.
Super Smash Bros. Wii U/3DS is out next year.
