Hopes were going up earlier his month as rumors began to spread about Klei Entertainment’s Mark of the Ninja hitting Steam due to a Steam description found for the game. Today, thanks to Rock Paper Shotgun, we now know that Mark of the Ninja will be bringing its 2D stealth skills to the PC market. When? October 16th (just in case you didn’t read the title).

The game will have a price point of $14.99 and, when speaking to RPS about the PC details, Lead Designer Nels Anderson confirmed that they were tweaking the mouse and keyboard controls and that Microsoft’s Game for Windows Live would have no part in the PC port.

Mark of the Ninja released on XBLA a couple weeks ago to a lot of praise from people, hopefully the move to Steam will allow more people to learn why Mark of the Ninja is so great.
