Speaking with Siliconera, Mass Effect series producer Michael Gamble confirms that the ‘Extended Cut’ to Mass Effect 3’s controversial ending will be included in the upcoming Wii U version.

“The extended ending is basically going to be part of the game instead,” and referring to Wii U owners, Gamble said, “You won’t have to download it.” This is a safe move considering the original ending sparked an outpouring of negative backlash for Bioware.

No word on whether the free DLC multiplayer packs will be included as well, or if players will be required to download them separately.
