Mass Effect Movie Script Written

<p>For those that didn&&num;8217&semi;t hear about the announcement made during Comic-Con 2011&comma; the creators of Mass Effect &lpar;Casey Hudson and Mark Protosevich&rpar; are working with Legendary Films to create a Mass Effect movie&period;  Strangely enough&comma; after they announced this information&comma; not much else has been released about it&period;  However&comma; an article on <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;deadline&period;com&sol;2012&sol;07&sol;paramounts-collider-teams-mark-protosevich-jj-abrams-edgar-wright&sol;">Deadline<&sol;a> pointed out that Mark Protosevich has written the movie&&num;8217&semi;s script that Legendary will follow&period;  The script&comma; apparently&comma; has been written to follow Commander Shepherd&&num;8217&semi;s story line as portrayed by the first Mass Effect game&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>According to an article written in September on <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;g4tv&period;com&sol;thefeed&sol;blog&sol;post&sol;716602&sol;mass-effect-movie-will-tell-a-completely-new-story&sol;">G4<&sol;a>&comma; Legendary Films had originally stated that the movie would tell a different story than the games had&period;  G4 also pointed out that Legendary had explicitly stated Seth Green would <strong>not<&sol;strong> be casting as Joker—who he did voice-over for within the games&period; These statements have changed in the updated version of the movies FAQ on the Legendary website to say&colon;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<blockquote>&NewLine;<ul>&NewLine;<li><strong>Will it just be an adaptation of the first game&comma; second game&comma; or a completely new story&quest;<&sol;strong><&sol;li>&NewLine;<&sol;ul>&NewLine;<p><em>It will focus on Commander Shepherd&&num;8217&semi;s journey&comma; centering around the story of the original Mass Effect game&period;<&sol;em><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<ul>&NewLine;<li><strong>Will Seth Green portray Joker&comma; the character he voiced in the game&quest;<&sol;strong><&sol;li>&NewLine;<&sol;ul>&NewLine;<p><em>No casting decisions have been made yet&period;<&sol;em><&sol;p><&sol;blockquote>&NewLine;<p>The full Mass Effect Movie FAQ can be found on Legendary&&num;8217&semi;s website <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;legendary&period;com&sol;news&sol;post&sol;sdcc-film-panel-questions-answered&sol;">here<&sol;a>&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
