Double Fine have announced that Massive Chalice will be released for PC on June 1. An Xbox One version will launch at around the same time.
The game has been available through Steam Early Access since November 2014, but the full release will feature several changes. Double Fine have added achievements, enabled controller support, and rebalanced the second half of the game to make it more challenging.
Massive Chalice is a turn-based strategy title that received over $1.2 million in funding from Kickstarter. Those who supported the game will have access to exclusive relics in their copy of Massive Chalice. It is Double Fine’s second crowdfunded project after the point-and-click adventure Broken Age.
