There has been a massive update launched today for the mobile game, Injustice: Gods Among Us. The update features seven new playable characters from both the CW show The Flash and Batman: Arkham; a new fighting mode, new Gear Sets, as well as brand new challenges!
The new fighting mode is Survivor Mode. In this mode, fights have been made much more difficult and there is almost no health regeneration between matches. Players will also be fighting against the clock as the match times have been shortened, but after each battle players receive loot they can either accept or gamble for even greater rewards.
Survivor Mode is also the only mode wherein players can earn all new Augmentation Cards which are used to make a player’s Character Card more powerful than ever. Also with this mode comes new Gear Sets that allow players to earn themed Gear that will grant them a significant advantage.
Some of the new added challenges include:
Blackest Night Martian Manhunter
Red Lantern Hal Jordan
Arkham Knight
Arkham Knight Harley Quinn
And Justice League Wonder Woman
There have also been several Booster Packs added and revamped, such as a revamped Red Son Pack which now contains Red Son Deathstroke, Red Son Green Lantern, and Red Son Batman. The Challenge Pack has also been updated, and the game now features an all new Metahuman Flash Starter Pack.
