It’s been five, long months since Halo: The Master Chief Collection‘s online woes began and even longer since we imagined Microsoft would’ve announced a console bundle with the series’ landmark remastering. That’s about to happen before we know it, as a matter of fact.
Today, Microsoft’s announced that you can journey through Master Chief’s first four missions on a brand-new Xbox One for the price of just of the console starting at $349.99, Microsoft’s Major Nelson tells us.
The bundle includes little more than the standard Xbox package – 500GB Xbox One, a wireless controller, headset, and a download code (sorry, no digital) for the game. The game does contain 45 campaign missions and over 100 multiplayer and Spartan Ops maps and also includes Ridley Scott’s live-action Halo: Nightfall series.
Among its olive branches to affected players, developer 343 Industries’ has also given away a variety of free Spartan gear in the months following the game’s glitch-ridden launch.
