Master of Orion Digital Collectors’ Edition Announced

<p>Today WG Labs announced in a press release that the reboot of the popular 4X strategy game <em>Master of Orion<&sol;em> for the PC will be getting a digital Collectors&&num;8217&semi; Edition&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>WG Labs says that this bundle will include &&num;8220&semi;&&num;8230&semi;the first three legendary <em>Master of Orion<&sol;em> titles&comma; a beautifully detailed digital art book&comma; modernized orchestral soundtrack&comma; special retro art style graphic motif&comma; and an exclusive new race only available in the Collector’s Edition&colon; the Terran Khanate&period; Players will also be granted Early Access—when available—so they can begin their quest for galactic supremacy ahead of other explorers&period;&&num;8221&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>WG Labs also explains that the retro motif can be applied to replace the modern looks of the spaceships&comma; making them look more like their counterparts from the original game&period; The Terran Khanate race is described as a more &&num;8220&semi;warlike bent&&num;8221&semi; aggressive version of the Human Federation&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><em>The Master of Orion<&sol;em> reboot was officially announced back in June&period; The series is known for it&&num;8217&semi;s deep 4X &lpar;&&num;8220&semi;eXplore&comma; eXpand&comma; eXploit&comma; and eXterminate&&num;8221&semi;&rpar; gameplay that lets players win through not only warfare&comma; but also diplomacy&comma; or resource domination&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><em>Master of Orion<&sol;em> has no release date as of yet&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Source&colon; WG Labs &lpar;via Press Release&rpar;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
