Max Borenstein Returns to Write Godzilla 2

<p><em><strong>Godzilla 2<&sol;strong><&sol;em> already has so much finalized at this point as Legendary movies forward with developing the revived franchise&period; In addition to director <strong>Gareth Edwards<&sol;strong> is returning to direct the sequel&comma; writer <strong>Max Borenstein<&sol;strong> is on board as well after having wrote this year&&num;8217&semi;s <em><strong>Godzilla<&sol;strong><&sol;em>&period; While Edwards has stated that the sequel will be very similar in tone to the first film&comma; not much else is known about the story seeing as how it&&num;8217&semi;s in the very early stages of development&period; However&comma; there has been mention of the monster list that will include franchise familiars <strong>Rodan<&sol;strong>&comma; <strong>Mothra<&sol;strong> and <strong>Ghidorah<&sol;strong>&period; Such a roster just screams <em><strong>Destroy All Monsters<&sol;strong><&sol;em> which was one of the biggest giant monster smack-down films until <em><strong>Godzilla Final War<&sol;strong><&sol;em>s brought all the monsters out for one giant blowout&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong><em>Godzilla 2<&sol;em><&sol;strong> has a release date currently set for <strong>June 8&comma; 2018<&sol;strong>&period; If you&&num;8217&semi;re wondering why the date is so far out&comma; <strong>Gareth Edwards<&sol;strong> currently has his hands full directing a spin-off for <em><strong>Star Wars<&sol;strong><&sol;em>&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Source&colon; <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;deadline&period;com&sol;2014&sol;09&sol;godzilla-sequel-max-borenstein-836578&sol;">Deadline<&sol;a><&sol;p>&NewLine;
