Medieval RPG Kingdom Come: Deliverance Enters Alpha This Month

Warhorse studios have announced that their upcoming RPG will be playable on October 22 this year. Kingdom Come: Deliverance is a realistic first person game set in the Kingdom of Bohemia, which was locased in modern day Czech Republic. The story begins in 1403 and will likely deal with the Papal Schism and the events leading up to the Hussite Wars. This project was crowd funded on Kickstarter and has so far raised over $2 million.

In a video posted on YouTube, Warhorse announced that those who have backed the game will gain access to the first alpha gameplay via Steam. The demo will be a very small one, containing only one village and a few mini quests. It will not feature combat or horse riding. The purpose of this alpha is mainly to test how well the game runs on different powered machines. However, Warhorse has promised that they will be adding new content to the alpha every two months. In the same video, the developers also showed off some new music for the game.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is set to be released on PC, Mac and Linux in late 2015. PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions will follow shortly afterwards.
