Megadimension Neptunia VII Comes To Steam This Summer

The first “next-gen” Neptunia game, Megadimension Neptunia VII, is heading to Steam sometime this summer.

First released on PlayStation 4, Megadimension Neptunia VII features “new characters, three worlds, three different stories, a powerful transformation mode, an updated battle system, and a new dungeon minigame,” according to the press release by Idea Factory.

PC specific features such as 60fps and the Japanese voice over (as well as the English voice work) are included.

Gameindustri, in this game, is suffering from the CPU Shift Period. There is civil unrest within the world, and the people of the world are calling for Neptune and the gang to be rid of power.

However, during this desperate time, both Neptune and Nepgear disappear to the Zero Dimension and meet the last CPU in the world, Uzume Tennouboshi, who is fighting an evil embodiment called the Dark CPU.

To help Uzume in her fight, you can use NEXT mode, which allows for a second transformation. This transformation gives new skills and costume for your party.

Battles also have a new system called “Parts Break,” which gives you the ability to link characters’ attacks, split enemies into piece for lowering stats (and disabling special attacks). In addition, there are “Giant Battles” that make battles more difficult for players as they “impose limits.”
Megadimension Neptunia VII is available now for PS4 and is scheduled to release sometime in the Summer for PC.
