<p>Konami has confirmed that <em>Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain</em> and <em>PES 2015 </em>will both be present at Gamescom 2014 in Cologne, Germany.</p>
<p>The highly anticipated <em>MGSV: The Phantom Pain</em> is expected to &#8220;show off the power of Kojima Production’s FOX Engine,&#8221; with <em>Metal Gear Solid</em> creator <a title="News Report Uses Image From Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain" href="https://bagogames.com/news-report-uses-image-metal-gear-solid-v-phantom-pain/" target="_blank">Hideo Kojima already demonstrating his capabilities of pushing next-generation software</a>.</p>
<p><em>PES 2015 </em>will no doubt want to prove a point that the football franchise can still compete against <a title="FIFA 15 U.S. and Canada Cover Star Revealed" href="https://bagogames.com/fifa-15-u-s-canada-cover-star-revealed/" target="_blank">EA’s <em>FIFA 15</em></a>, as Konami claims that the latest title &#8220;boasts the most realistic simulation of the beautiful game to date.&#8221; Additionally, Konami has confirmed that a playable version of <em>PES 2015 </em>will be available at Gamescom.</p>

<p><em>Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain </em>is Kojima&#8217;s latest installment that takes the series into a full-blown open-world setting, with it carrying on the story that its prologue, <a title="Short But Deadly Sweet | Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes Review" href="https://bagogames.com/short-deadly-sweet-metal-gear-solid-v-ground-zeroes/" target="_blank"><em>Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes</em></a><em>, </em>started earlier this year. Stepping into the role of Big Boss, the legendary soldier awakens from a coma and begins his journey to find out those who were responsible for the attack on his previous organisation, Militaires Sans Frontières, whilst we watch Snake&#8217;s transformation from hero to villain begin.</p>
<p><em>PES 2015</em> is scheduled for release later this year on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.</p>
<p><em>Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain</em> has not received an official release date &#8212; although <em>The Guardian</em> did interview <em>Metal Gear</em> creator Hideo Kojima<em> </em>and suggested that the title is expected for <a title="News Report Uses Image From Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain" href="https://bagogames.com/news-report-uses-image-metal-gear-solid-v-phantom-pain/" target="_blank">release March 17th, 2015</a> &#8212; but it&#8217;s certain that the game will be released before the end of 2015 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.</p>
