Metal Gear Solid V Launch Trailer Relives The Series Past

It’s T-minus one week until Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain drops in the states and even less than that some parts of the world. Publisher Konami’s taken the opportunity to remind us all just how long of a road it’s been to make this game happen.

In what’s likely the last trailer you’ll see of the game before it’s in your hands, we see in no particular order just how far the series has evolved across the generations and just how much Big Boss has.

In short, a lot of death and disaster’s followed Big Boss and his progeny. The only thing left is revenge – and to finally play this puppy to completion next week.

In addition, the game promises us a battle on the “ultimate scale” if the clip below didn’t sell you on that already.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain releases this Tuesday, Sep. 1st, for Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
