Recently in an interview with GamesTM, Michel Ancel (Creator of Rayman), praised the Wii U in terms of hardware amongst other things.

According to Michel Ancel his team “didn’t encounter any limitations” and were able to “add a lot of depth to the graphics” to ensure that Rayman Legends becomes even better than the original!

The full quotation is as follows:

“The hardware is powerful and we haven’t had any limitations. Visually, because we’ve had more time with the UbiArt engine, we were able to add a lot of depth to the graphics. You can especially see it in the backgrounds. There are more layers, more details; it feels more like a landscape. We’ve also done a lot with the lighting effects, both in gameplay and graphics.”

We would love to hear your thoughts on the upcoming Rayman Legends game, or even what you thought of the revamped Rayman Origins. Let us know in the comments below!
