Microids and game creator Benoit Sokal have released a new trailer entitled “The Story Continues” for the latest game in the Syberia series. The video shows some features and the creative process used for the latest installment of the franchise, Syberia 3. It also allows viewers to learn more on what has taken place between the last game and now.
The last game ended with Kate Walker’s journey leaving her to be found by a caravan of Youkol – who also appeared in Syberia 2. Now she will team with them to escape their common enemies.
Syberia 3 is being developed in true 3D for the first time in the series history and gamers will be able to explore the game’s countrysides and cities, unraveling their mysteries and enigmas in a way like never before in the saga. The game’s original score will be done by Inon Zur, who did the score for the last game as well.
The game will be shown off at this years E3 and is scheduled to release on December 1, 2016 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Mac in French, English, German, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Chinese (simplified and traditional), Korean, Polish and Russian.
