Rumours have been flying around for months now of Microsoft releasing a device to turn your Xbox console into a TV box. A new report suggest that this could become reality by Christmas… next year.
The Verge reports that the set-top Xbox would be a “low-cost alternative… designed to provide access to core entertainment services”.
To me this sounds like an Xbox 360 console which can’t play games and instead just has access to its multimedia apps such as LoveFilm, Sky and BBC iPlayer etc.
