<p>After years of fans asking for it, Microsoft is finally allowing Xbox Live migration. So if you up and move to a different country, you can now change the territory on your Xbox Live account to reflect that. However, there are possible downsides to having to change your account territory. Here is what they are:</p>
<p>&#8211; The termination of region-specific services<br />
&#8211; Loss of ability to redownload certain games, and termination of non-XBL Gold subscriptions<br />
&#8211; Redownloaded content may be Geofenced</p>
<p>As of right now the migration process takes about six weeks, but hopefully that will decrease as Microsoft gets used to doing them.</p>
