Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate for the Nintendo 3DS will be launch in early 2015 in the West. This time as a hunter you embark on a caravan to travel through several locations to hunt new malicious monsters. Unlike the other Monster Hunter mobile games, Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate allows friends to hunt together over the Nintendo Network. The usual local wireless option of playing with friends is still an option. The Official Capcom UK video description discusses what to expect from the latest Monster Hunter game:
“[t]he game will introduce an expanded action set including more vertical and lateral movement, fluid climbing motions, and ability to ride atop monsters. Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate also debuts two weapon classes, features new and returning monsters, and spans more locales for the most robust hunting experience than ever before”.
